this is not jub29575064f1c96e8e3ef465c3dd46a81st another travel blog  – this blog is about my sabbatical. “Drink Milk And Smile” (deriving from my invented Blog name “Milch-Lächeln”) is my motto during this period of time.
it’s a way to express the intention of being open minded during this gap year, away from home, outside my comfort zone.
you know the expression “life begins at the end of your comfort zone” by Neale Donald Walsch.
so this is the time for saying “yes” to things I would have usually said “no” to at home in my routine life.
for example, if I had refused to do hanggliding in Germany, now there’s no way to chicken out on that. if I said “no” to emotions, this time… you know…  (in North Brazil you can choose between tours on sand dunes “with or without emotions”…).

I step out of my comfort zone and I might encounter things I would’ve never thought of before. take a break with me and get inspired by the power of time off.

everything that will be posted here is related to this new personal experience of time, in new places, with new faces, and – not to forget – with my all-time-passions “film” and “music”.

take this walk with me, if you want, I’m excited to share my impressions with you.

here you go, start with your walk with the blog: “Not A Tourist“.

P.S.: if you don’t like milk, caipirinha might do the job, too! 😉

  1. Sweet blog! I found it while browsing on Yahoo News. Do you have any suggestions on how to
get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there!
    Many thanks

    • Sorry for my late reply, George. Actually I haven’t done anything to get listed in Yahoo News. Nor to be found easily via Google. I am very suprised! I suppose that it depends on the blog’s name.
